The numerator of this indicator is: Number of live born term babies with an Apgar score of less than 7 at five minutes post delivery. The denominator is: Number of live born term babies born. To obtain a percentage for “Healthy Apgar Score†the numerator has been subtracted from the denominator before converting to a percentage.
